Jamie Menhall
BU Academy High School, Boston MA
When he was only 12 years old, Jamie Menhall began shadowing therapists and offering peer support for autistic kids. Watching young patients captivated by their favorite games and apps inspired him to explore how touchscreen technologies might improve the lives of everyone affected by autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The result is GoFAR, the world’s first non-profit founded by a kid, exclusively dedicated to supporting scientific research into autism-focused technologies.
